With his electric-white hair, happy-go-lucky demeanor, and a look that says, "It’s Jimmy Buffet time," Erik Dyce is not your clichéd venture capitalist. As one of Denver’s most established entrepreneurs, Erik is a legend in his own realm. Before becoming CEO of Vencore Marine Group and running Pelican Bay Marina and The Lake House Event Center at Cherry Creek State Park in Denver, he had a successful 45-year career in the arts, entertainment, radio, leisure, and tourism.
In short, he built the good life through his business endeavors, which included a 26-year run as Facility Manager and Chief Marketing Officer for the legendary and artist-revered Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO. During this time, he operated eight other venues in the City of Denver’s Arts and Venues division. His nickname, "Mr. Red Rocks," speaks to his creative contributions and his appreciation for blues and rock music, artistic innovation, and the evolution of the music industry. He introduced "Film on the Rocks," and his legacy still lives on with film, comedy, and local bands playing the summertime series.
When he speaks, his hypnotic, low-toned, and buttery smooth delivery make the simplest of statements an auditory delight.
